Let’s Eat Cake and raise funds for Hope House Children's Hospices

Hafren Fasteners – the security fastener experts, are having a fundraising morning in aid of Hope House Children's Hospice. During the morning we will be hosting a logo quiz; for a chance to win a bottle of wine and a delicious homemade cake (T&C’s apply). A selection of cakes will also be on sale during the morning, with all proceeds being donated to the hospice. We would like to invite our business neighbours to join us for the occasion.

Hope house 2

Hope House is a children’s charity that cares for local children with serious conditions, who aren’t expected to live longer than early adulthood. They help by providing specialist respite and nursing care, counselling support, advice and guidance as and when needed, to improve the short lives of the children who need them.

It cost £6 million last year to provide vital services to local children and families which includes the running of two hospices; Hope House in Shropshire and Ty Gobaith in North Wales. They also provide outreach nursing care in the family home, counselling and bereavement support whenever and for however long the family may need.

How the money you raise will help local children

  • £60 gives a seriously ill child an hour of fun in a hydrotherapy pool
  • £100 pays for three hours of counselling to help bereaved families
  • £600 enables us to provide our care services for one hour
  • £2800 pays for a month of nursing supplies for children with complex medical needs

So, come and join us Thursday morning for coffee and cake and help us raise money for this worthy cause. To find out more about the work the Hope House Hospice does visit their website, or click the link to join us in supporting this worthy cause www.hopehouse.org.uk
