Hafren Security Ratings

Entry Level
Fasteners offer protection from vandalism and opportunistic crime. Drivers can be purchased by the general public.

Enhanced Security
Fasteners are less Common and less Recognizable. Driver Tooling is non-standard and Harder for the general public to buy.

Medium Security
Rarer (less well-known) products. Supply of driver tooling is controlled, less readily available to buy, enhancing the security of the assembly.

High Security
Either 1-way permanent fixing, or rare Hafren patented high security products requiring specialist tooling to remove (only available from Hafren approved distributors).

Maximum Security
Highest security available. Products are either 1-way permanent fixings, or require bespoke exclusive, custom made driver tools to remove.

Custodial Sector (Prisons)

Prisons - With over 94,000 people currently imprisoned in the UK (a prison population that has doubled since the mid-1990s), and with day-to-day spending on prisons totalling £2.71bn; it is imperative that special attention is paid to all fasteners and fixings to ensure the safety and security of everyone. Within the custodial sector security fasteners are commonly utilised in various applications such as windows, cell doors, door hinges, jams, and frames, as well as in air conditioning ducts, vents, washrooms, bathrooms, shower areas, mirrors, security fences, signs, electrical outlets, and fixtures.
